Yesterday, The Rolling Stones announced the postponement of their concert at Amsterdam’s Johan Cruijiff ArenA after the band’s frontman, Mick Jagger, tested positive for COVID-19 upon arrival at the venue. Now, they have postponed their second concert, which was slated to take place on Friday, June 17 at Wankdorf Stadium in Bern, Switzerland.

In a statement shared on their official Instagram, the ensemble proclaimed: “The Rolling Stones have been forced to postpone their upcoming concert in Bern, Switzerland at Wankdorf Stadium on Friday June 17, following Mick Jagger testing positive for COVID.” However, they went on to add, “The Stones Milan show on Tuesday, June 21 at San Siro Stadium goes ahead and will take place as scheduled.”

The Rolling Stones are currently on a European sweep, dubbed Sixty, in honor of the legendary ensemble’s 60th anniversary as a unit. The tour kicked off on June 1 in Madrid and continued in Munich before a United Kingdom return on June 9, when the band lit up Liverpool.
