On Thursday, Andy Frasco & The U.N. were slated to perform in Upper Merion Township Building Park in King of Prussia, PA. However, before the show, Frasco’s guitarist hurt his leg and was unable to make the gig. The high-energy Frasco used the unfortunate turn of events to collaborate with a special guest and reached out to the Pennsylvania-based Tom Hamilton to see if he would sub.

The Joe Russo’s Almost Dead guitarist explained in a post, “Got a text from an unknown number, turns out it was Frasco. Guitar guy blew his knee out and you need a ringer 20mins from my house?! Why the fuck not?? Thanks so much for the invite, Andy. I had a blast! You and your whole crew we’re great, so happy to make new buds💖💖 Ok, back to rehearsal! More to come… TRHjr.” Despite not knowing any of the songs before the gig, Hamilton ended up playing throughout the entire show.

Last night in Baltimore, Pigeons Playing Ping guitarist Jeremy Schon stepped into the role.

Frasco will perform at New Realm Brewing Co. in Virginia Beach, VA this evening while JRAD will kick off a run at Vail, CO’s Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater on August 21. PPPP is off until their Summerdance appearance on August 28 at 29 at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, OH.
