Twiddle kicked off their final run of pre-hiatus shows at Port Cheater, NY’s Capitol Theatre on Friday. The Kitchen Dwellers opened the night and that group’s banjo player Torrin Daniels returned for “Cabbage Face” during Twiddle’s first set. Then, at the end of Twiddle’s show, all the members of Kitchen Dwellers joined Twiddle for their reggae-like take on Bush’s “Glycerine,” which included bits of Bob Marley & The Wailers’ “No Woman, No Cry,” Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel” and Phish’s “Farmhouse.”
During Twiddle’s second set, Scott Hannay also played keyboards on “Brick of Barley.” The multi-instrumentalist has created 8-bit NES music for a variety of artists, including Twiddle
Twiddle’s final pre-hiatus will take place this evening.
