Twiddle’s Mihali Savoulidis and Zdenek Gubb to Unite as Gubbulidis for First-Ever Tour

Former Twiddle bandmates, Mahali Savouldis and Zdeck Gubb, will come together this spring for a 12-stop tour. The pair will team up for the first time as a twosome, performing under the amalgamated moniker, Gubbulidis, beginning February 19 at the Sherman Theater in Stroudsburg, Pa.

On the road, the band will participate in appearances on the East Coast, including night two, February 20, at the Pearl Street Warehouse in Washington, D.C., followed by a night on the Brooklyn Bowl stage in New York. The duo will take their joint talents to Lancaster, Pa.’s West Art venue on February 22, before taking a break from the road. 

On the other side of their recess, Savouldis and Gubb will resume their touring endeavors on March 5 at the Waterhole Music Lounge in Saranac Lake, N.Y., while en route to their March 6 follow-up at Toad’s Palace in New Haven, Conn. Next, they’ll submit a night at The Waldo Theatre in Waldoboro, Maine, on March 7, and the ensuing evening, March 8 at the Pickle Barrel in Killington, Vt. 

After one final break in appearances, the pair will take their appeal to The Drake in Amherst, Mass. (March 12), The Met in Pawtucket, R.I. (March 13), The Majestic Theatre in Conway, N.H. (March 14), before the final date on schedule, which takes them to  3S Artspace in Portsmouth, N.H. (March 15). 

Previously, Twiddle announced an indefinite hiatus, performing their final concert at Port Chester, N.Y.’s Capitol Theatre on November 26, 2023. Notably, members united at the Frendly Gathering at Timber Ridge in Windham, Vt., this past summer under Gubbulidis Orchestra, representing a reunion between guitarist Mihali and bassist Gubb.
