UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell Announce 2026 Australian Tour

UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell have announced they will head back to Australia in January 2026 for an east coast run. The newly-announced dates are part of the British reggae band’s Big Love world tour, which kicks off next week in Portugal before heading through the UK and mainland Europe. In a press statement, Campbell noted that he and the band were “really excited to be coming back to Australia”. “The connection we have built over the years with our Aussie family is a special one,” he said. “[We] can’t wait to be back down under once again.” Campbell first toured Australia with the original iteration of UB40 back in 1981, and returned for tours in 1983, 1990, 1994, 2004, 2006 and 2008. The lattermost tour would prove to be Campbell’s final with UB40, as he quit shortly thereafter.

UB40 – ‘Red Red Wine’

Since launching the legally-distinct UB40 Featuring Ali Campbell, the singer and guitarist has brought the spinoff group to Australia four times: 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2024. UB40 sans Campbell, meanwhile, have also continued to tour Australia. They returned in 2014 with new frontman Duncan Campbell, Ali’s brother, and toured again in 2015, 2016 and 2017. In 2022, they toured for the first time with Matt Doyle, who replaced Duncan Campbell a year earlier. This new iteration of the group then toured again in both 2023 and 2024 – in the latter instance, just eight months after Campbell.

• Thursday, January 22nd – State Theatre, Sydney NSW
• Saturday, January 24th – Civic Theatre, Newcastle NSW
• Sunday, January 25th – Star Theatre, Broadbeach QLD

A pre-sale for the tour will run from 10am AEST on Thursday, August 14th. General sale will then follow on Friday, August 15th – again at 10am AEST. Both can be accessed via Face To Face.
