Ultra Australia Drops First 2026 Lineup: The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake + More Locked In

Ultra has officially kicked off the 2026 hype cycle, unveiling the first eight acts for next April’s festival run – and yep, EDM fans are already deep in the comment sections about it.

The global dance juggernaut will return to the Gold Coast’s Broadwater Parklands and Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne with The Chainsmokers and DJ Snake leading the charge, joined by Darren Styles, MaRLo and Oliver Heldens on both dates.

Melbourne gets a few extra treats with Miss Monique, Zedd and Nico Moreno also jumping on the bill, giving the Victorian stop a slightly juicier first taste.

While last year’s editions sold out and pulled more than 40,000 punters across the two cities, reaction online to this initial drop has been… mixed. Some fans are still mourning the absence of 2025 headliners like Martin Garrix and Axwell, while others are banking hard on Ultra delivering a monster Phase Two announcement to really blow the doors off.

Despite the mixed early chatter, Ultra remains one of the most-loved EDM events in the country, recently ranked the #88 EDM festival in the world in DJ Mag’s readers poll – with only Beyond The Valley and Pitch Music & Arts sneaking in ahead of it on the Aussie side.
