VLTIMAS (Ex-Morbid Angel, Etc.) Premiere New Single & Music Video “Miserere” From Upcoming Album “Epic”

VLTIMAS is set to release their new studio album titled “Epic” on March 15th via Season Of Mist. The blackened death metal supergroup, comprising former Morbid Angel vocalist/bassist David Vincent, Cryptopsy drummer Flo Mounier, and ex-Mayhem guitarist Rune “Blasphemer” Eriksen, has unveiled the first single from the album: “Miserere.” A music video for the track is now available, both of which streaming via YouTube and Spotify for you below.

Regarding the release, the band collectively commented:

“The world throws us all trials and tribulations constantly. We use this angst as a weapon in our art to score the apocalypse.” Digging in a bit further on the Jaime Gomez Arellano (Paradise Lost, Ghost) produced effort, Eriksen offered, “[‘EPIC‘ is] old meets contemporary, a symbiosis of all the great things we love about extreme metal. All combined into one album.”

Adds David Vincent: “I want to be as emotional and honest [w/ VLTIMAS] I want to tell stories; I want to have the themes that appeal to me; I want to have some messaging that someone can take away, in this case, strength. ‘EPIC‘ is strength.”
