Wilco has issued the save-the-date for their bi-annual Solid Sound Festival, which will take place from June 26 through 28, 2026, at The Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art [MASS MoCA] campus in North Adams, Mass. The event upholds the host band’s tradition of offering handpicked entertainment, featuring a diverse range of musicians, artists, and comedians who participate in the three-day schedule.

Past iterations of the festival have included anticipated live performances from Wilco, in addition to musical participants such as 2024 contributors Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Nick Lowe & Los Straightjackets, Iris Dement, Dry Cleaning, Hailu Mergia, Fenne Lily, Marc Ribot, Mikaela Davis, and special sets from the hosts’ solo projects and other creative outlets.

The first-ever Solid Sound Festival occurred in 2010 at MASS MoCA, drawing a crowd of 5,000 people and featuring friends of Wilco and beloved acts like Jeff Tweedy’s longtime collaborator, Mavis Staples, in addition to The Nels Cline Singers, The Baseball Project, and more year one contributors, who helped shape the event into what it is today.

Notably, the forthcoming gathering will arrive after the September 26, 2025, release of Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy’s fifth solo album, Twilight Override, a sprawling three-disc set that explores themes of the past, present, and future, and showcases Tweedy’s pursuit to hold longer notes and enchant listeners with reflective compositions.
