Missy Higgins Adds More Shows to ‘The Sound of White’ 20th Anniversary Tour

Missy Higgins has extended her The Sound of White 20th anniversary tour due to enormous ticket demand during pre-sale. The singer-songwriter has announced eight additional shows in cities across the country, including Canberra, Sydney, Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Newcastle.

The tour is a celebration of the 20th anniversay of Higgins’ debut album The Sound Of White, which holds a special place in Australian music history, having sold over a million copies and earned six ARIA Awards. The album features timeless classics such as ‘Scar,’ ‘Ten Days,’ and ‘The Special Two.’

As part of the 20th anniversary celebration, Higgins is releasing a deluxe edition of The Sound of White. Available Friday, 5th April 2024, the CD and LP release is set to include bonus live recordings of every song on the album, expanded artwork, and a previously unreleased track titled ‘Cry Me A River.’
