Baker Boy Announces 2026 National Tour In Support Of Bold New Album ‘DJANDJAY’

Fresh from lighting up the AFL Grand Final alongside Snoop Dogg, certified ARIA-snatcher and proud Yolŋu artist Baker Boy has announced his long-awaited return to the national stage. The DJANDJAY tour will hit stages around the country in April and May 2026, bringing with it a brand-new show and fearless new chapter.

The tour comes hot on the heels of his second album DJANDJAY (out October 10 via Island Records Australia) – a record that digs deeper than ever before. Named after both his late grandmother and the Yolŋu spirit guide she shares a name with, DJANDJAY folds Yolŋu Matha, English and Burarra into a genre-bending mix of hip-hop, punk, gospel and electronic textures.

Baker Boy, Briggs, Haiku Hands – ‘FREAK OUT’ 

Singles like ‘PEACEKEEPER’, ‘FREAK OUT’ (with Briggs & Haiku Hands), and ‘THICK SKIN’ (with Thelma Plum, Emma Donovan, Kee’ahn & Jada Weazel) showcase a project built on resilience and reclamation.

Baker Boy will take DJANDJAY to stages in Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Coolangatta, Barwon Heads, Melbourne, Darwin, and Alice Springs, with the promise of a fresh production designed especially for this run. He’s also locked in appearances at Perth Festival and WOMADelaide 2026.

“It’s a celebration of who I am, where I’ve come from, and where I’m heading,” Baker Boy shares of the new record. “Performing still brings me the same energy and connection it did from the very beginning — and this tour will be something fans haven’t seen from me before.”
