Canada-based singer/songwriter Ghalia teams up with producer IMPSTR for “Driftin’,” a vocal-driven melodic dance track exploring the tension of being emotionally distant while still physically close. With its clean and instantly memorable topline, modern bass groove, and streaming-focused structure, the track stands firmly within today’s deep dance movement led by names like Meduza, KREAM, and Elderbrook. Born in Jordan and based in Toronto, Ghalia is a 25-year-old House/R&B/Pop artist who has been creating music since she first touched a keyboard at just six years old. Songwriting and performing have become her form of therapy,  allowing her to express stories of love, relationships, and anxiety through her warm and expressive voice. After studying audio engineering, music production, and songwriting at Toronto’s Trebas Institute, she continues to refine her unique craft. 

Her sound, rooted in deep and melodic house with traces of R&B and pop, draws inspiration from artists such as Chase Atlantic, KREAM, Always Never, MEDUZA, and Justin Bieber. With new releases planned throughout the year, Ghalia’s emotionally rich writing combined with her standout vocal tone positions her as a rising talent to watch in the global dance scene. “Driftin’” is a perfect reflection of who she is today, vulnerable, modern, and ready to make waves.
